Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

When I was 3 I got an xr50 from santa. I rode around the yard for a while then my parents carried me to T.N.T a local riding place that has trails an motocross tracks. They would park the camper by the kids track and turn me loose; I would ride for hours at a time( I had a camelbak so i would not have to stop, except for fuel and to unfuel). When I out grew my 50 at age 7 my parents bought me a new KTM 65 sx; that was cool

List your competitive highlights:

I won five out of my first six races in the 65 beginner class at D.N.A motopark when I was 7. in the southern dirt super series I finshed first overall in the beginner class and second overall in the 65jr. class. One of the races in that series was the ponca city qualifier which I finished in first place in the 65 jr. and 65 beg. classes; however, I did not pay the money to register for the qualifiers, maybe next year.

What are you planning for next season?

I plan to train really hard for the rest of this year, and race some(racing is part of my training program). I would like to start next year strong. I intend to go to ponca city next year, and qualify for Loretta's.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

So far my biggest accomplishment was wining the southern dirt series overall; there were some really good competition at those races. And I am proud of taking first place at Cathy's Creek during the ponca qualifiers, there were some good riders there as well. O yeah, I've went to a local track the last two weekends and there were'nt any 65 racers there so I entered the 85d class on my 65 and won!!! that was cool ;}

Q&A - Personal

What inspires you to compete?

The challenge of competition inspires me to push myself to do my best. So, in short, the competition is the fuel that drives me. And the feeling I get when I win a race is awesome!!!

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Loop'n out on the starting gate in front of everybody was extremely embarrassing ;} (And I still looked around to see if anyone saw me!!!)

Why do you like this sport?

What is not to like? I can not imagine life without this sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some Personal Information About Me:

I like motocross, I like to ride, I like to race, I like to build tracks, wherever theres dirt, to race my little motorcycles. I also enjoy martial arts, it builds my confidence, teaches me balance, and how to fall properly.

Describe your style...

I like looking good both on and off the track, and I take pride in who I am and where I am at in life. As far as my riding style I consider myself a smart rider, cautious yet driven!. If what I bring on race day is not enough to win; I do not ride over my head. I go home, practice longer and harder, then bring a little more to the next race.
